Wades Landing Lodge is situated at Raurimu, 5km north of National Park Village ( same location as Wades Landing Outdoors). We offer easy access to both winter and summer activities. Wades Landing Lodge can sleep 120 people in 36 comfortable, heated guest rooms. All rooms share bathroom facilities. We cater for groups, School camps, families and individuals.
We offer sole occupancy at Wades Landing Lodge if numbers are great enough. We can assist with planning, organising itineraries and bookings. We can provide you with all the relevant information you require for tours, walks and hikes before you arrive at Wades Landing Lodge.

Blue Duck Lodge has been named in recognition of a number of blue ducks who inhabit the Retaruke River, a major tributary of the Whanganui river. The blue duck, or whio as it is known in Maori, is an endangered species and Dan and Louise are committed to helping to preserve this native fowl. An environmental project, which involves raising public awareness of the plight of New Zealand's native blue duck, surveying the Retaruke ducks and trapping their predators, is underway. These rare ducks can best be observed while kayaking down the Retaruke River.

Discovery lodge is the closest Tongariro Crossing accommodation. Just 10 minutes drive to the Mangatepopo Road end. Discovery is also very popular for Mt Ruapehu skiing accommodation, only 12 kilometres to the Whakapapa Ski Area chair lifts.

Backpacker Delux
These little private units are great value. They have their own bathroom, TV, hot drink making facilities and all bedding and linen is provided. Units have either single beds or doubles. $85 - summer (for 2 people), $95 - winter (for 2 people).
Backpacker Cabins
Budget accommodation for the most frugal. Again no charge for the great location. You will need your own bedding. $50 - summer (for 2 people), $50 - winter (for 2 people).
Powered Camper Sites
Park up and soak up the surrounding nature. And no charge for the magnificent views of all three volcanoes. If you can show us a campground with better views of all three Tongariro volcanoes we will give you your money back. $10 per person.
